A commemorative plate presented to then-Montreal Expo Rusty Staub for making the 1971 All-Star team. The silver plate is 14" in diameter and features the logos for each National League team with the names of their All-Star representatives engraved into the metal. The center of the plate reads, "Presented to Rusty Staub, All-Star Game, July 13th, 1971. Staub would make a total of 6 All-Star teams during his long career that saw him compile 2,716 hits and 292 home runs. Following his career, Staub owned restaurants in New York City and was very active in charitable endeavors. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 73.
