Lot of 4 baseball stars game used and game-issued bats. Included are the following: 1) A mid-1970s Davey Lopes, Louisville Slugger 35" bat. "15" is written on the knob in black ink. 2) 1970s Bob Oliver, Adirondack 35" bat. The bat has a crack at the handle, and "2 3 4 A" is etched into the knob. 3) 1975 Gorman Thomas, Louisville Slugger 35" bat. "3" is written on the knob in black ink. The bat shows heavy signs of use, and a large piece of wood (about 8" long) is missing from the barrel. There are also two small holes drilled into the bat, one in the barrel, and one at the handle. This suggests that the bat may have been displayed and hanging on a wall at some point, and held up by screws. 4) George Hendrick, game-issued Adirondack Big Stick 35" bat. "288 RJ" is etched into the knob.
