Circa 1993 Chipper Jones Atlanta Braves rookie era signed and inscribed game used bat. Louisville Slugger Model R161 ash bat measures 35.0" and weighs 34.5 ounces. Outstanding use displayed includes a repaired handle crack, pine tar residue, and some barrel checking. Number 10 is written on both knob and barrel end in black marker, and it is autographed between trademark and barrel stamp in 9-10/10 black Sharpie; Jones has added his number 10 in the loop of the "J" in his last name, and "Gamer!" is scripted below. Per the included LOA, this bat's labeling dates from the 1992-94 era; the future Hall of Famer played his first 8 career MLB games with Atlanta in '93, before missing the '94 campaign due to injury. While it is possible that this was used during his '93 stint with the AAA Richmond Braves, the labeling period makes this gem one of his earliest gamers in a career that spanned 19 seasons with 2,499 games played and 468 homers. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a grade of PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Full LOA from PSA for the signature.
