Ted Williams once stated that his goal was that someday he would be seen walking down a street, and a passersby would say, "There goes the greatest hitter who ever lived." Presented is a Ted Williams signed autograph cut display that includes a color photo of the Hall of Famer in his batting stance, dressed in a Red Sox uniform, and probably at spring training in Florida. Williams' eyes are starring ahead in laser focus. Williams played his entire 19-year Major League career with the Boston Red Sox. He is baseball's last .400 hitter, batting .406 in 1941. Despite missing three full seasons and most of two others in military service, with tours as a pilot in World War II and the Korean Conflict, Williams crashed 521 lifetime homers and batted a career .344.

The offered Williams signature is on a thick piece of what appears to be white card stock or cardboard, an irregular cut with a width of 4.25" and a height of 2.25" at its peak. Using a fiber-tip marker, Williams scripted a big and bold signature. The 7.5x9.25" color photo is nicely matted and framed to 13.75x17.25". The autograph cut display comes with a JSA Letter of Authenticity (Cert. Number B85571) for the signature. The display is in EXCELLENT condition.
