Collection of seventy-three New England Patriots home ticket stubs, spanning the years 1992 to 2005. The highlight of this collection is a near-complete home-game run for the 2001 season, which was Tom Brady's first season as the club's starting quarterback, including his first start on September 30th against the Indianapolis Colts. Also featured are four ticket stubs to the infamous "Tuck Rule" playoff game held on January 19, 2002, which was Tom Brady's first postseason appearance and win.
The 2001 near-complete run of seven home games (missing only the game against New Orleans on 11/25), plus both preseason games, consists of the following: 1) 8/10 vs. N.Y. Giants (Preseason Game A); 2) 8/30 vs. Washington (Preseason Game B); 3) 9/23 vs. N.Y. Jets (Brady's takes over for an injured Drew Bledsoe; 4) 9/30 vs. Indianapolis (Brady's first start and win); 5) 10/14 vs. San Diego; 6) 11/11 vs. Buffalo; 7) 11/18 vs St. Louis; 8) 12/9 vs. Cleveland, and 9) 12/22 vs. Miami. 10-13) "Tuck Rule" Playoff Game. Three of the four January 19, 2002, "Tuck Rule" playoff game ticket stubs measure 5.75x2", while the fourth (in POOR condition) measures 3.25x1.75" (partially torn and folded). All the 2001 regular-season and playoff tickets display a heavy fold and moderate creasing. In Fair condition overall.
The remaining tickets in the collection, by year, are as follows: 1991 (one ticket); 1998 (four tickets; one duplicate, which is a Ticketmaster); 1999 (three tickets); 2000 (seven tickets, including one preseason and one duplicate, which is a Ticketmaster example); 2002 (nine tickets; all Ticketmaster examples, including two preseason and two duplicates); 2003 (eleven tickets; including three preseason; one duplicate; and one training camp ticket); 2004 (eleven tickets; including two preseason and four tickets to the 2004 AFC Championship game held on January 23, 2005); 2005 (five tickets; including one preseason and one duplicate).
