It is with extreme pleasure that we offer this most momentous of game used bats. A real beauty, it is a 1961 World Series Adirondack 194VP wielded by one of the most underrated baseball greats in history. Frank Robinson, “The Judge” is arguably the greatest living player. Does Triple Crown winner, World Series MVP, AL MVP & NL MVP mean anything to you? It means an awful lot to us. And he has the offensive power numbers to match – 586HR, 1812RBI, 2943 hits… we could go on. But what makes this bat so special is that it was used for the 1961 World Series – one of the most memorable Series in baseball history and one of the most unforgettable seasons. Robinson led the Reds to their first pennant since 1940, only to fall to the unstoppable New York Yankees, powered by Roger Maris & Mickey Mantle, made almost unhittable by Whitey Ford. This large piece of lumber shows light use from the 1961 World Series, stamped “1961 World Series” on the barrel. A true classic.
