Pair of Bernard King game-worn Converse All Star Pro High Top sneakers, with each shoe signed by King on the outer right side. Both signatures have been scripted in black marker and grade 7/10. While we cannot pinpoint the exact year that King wore these sneakers, we have found numerous photos of him wearing this style shoe during his seasons with the New York Knicks during the early-to-mid 1980s. The size 14 1/2 sneakers, which bear the stamped code "SKU 19137" on the interior of each, display moderate wear throughout. 

King joined the Knicks just prior to the start of the 1982-83 season after being traded by Golden State for Anthony Richardson. The change in scenery suited King well, as he averaged 21.9, 26.3, and a league-high 32.9 points per game during his first three seasons with the club. He was also a First Team All NBA player for both the 1983-84 and 1984-85 seasons. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. Full LOA from PSA (for the signature only).
