New England Patriots jersey issued for use by Tom Brady during the 2007 season. This jersey was never worn by Brady, but the reason he never wore it is directly related to its provenance. The jersey has been consigned by the former National Sales Manager at American Classic Outfitters, the company that manufactured all the Reebok jerseys at the time. Every year, Reebok produced a few extra jerseys for some of the league's high-profile players, as a backup in case one was needed by the club at the last minute. This was the extra produced for Brady that year, but it was never called into action. As a result, our consignor kept it after the season as a souvenir and it has remained in his possession since that time. It must be noted that the offered jersey is identical to the ones worn by Brady during the 2007 season, making it an affordable example for budget-conscious Tom Brady collectors.
The navy mesh jersey features the number "12" on the front, reverse, and each shoulder. "Brady" is lettered upon a navy nameplate on the reverse, directly above the number. All letters are applied in white tackle twill. All numerals are applied in white-on-silver-on-red tackle twill. Located in the collar are a "Reebok" label and a white strip tag bearing the year ("07") and size ("48"). The jersey is original as issued and shows no use. Together with a letter of provenance from the consignor.
