Brooklyn Dodgers press pin issued for the 1956 World Series against the New York Yankees. The Dodgers broke conventionality in 1956 by designing their press pin in the form of a tie clasp. The clip features a representation of a baseball bat, upon the end of which is a blue enamel Dodgers cap. Because of its novel design, this has long been considered the premier World Series press pin of the decade. Produced by Dieges & Clust, as engraved on the reverse. 2.25 inches long.
