Presented is the opportunity to enhance any sports memorabilia display with the addition of a great collection of the autographs of 16 Baseball Hall of Famers, including two Ted Williams autographs and the signature of Joe DiMaggio: 1) Ted Williams signature, in blue marker, on a 4x6", black & white postcard photograph of the Splendid Splinter pitching in a regular season game at Fenway Park on August 24, 1940. Williams came in from left field to pitch the final two innings in a 12-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers. He allowed a run on three hits and struck out Detroit star Rudy York. Williams crafted a flowing, bold signature. 2) Ted Williams, with a neat autograph on the front of a "Thumper" 3.5x5.5" postcard image. Williams signed in fine tip blue marker. 3) Joe DiMaggio signing a Score specially issued Joe DiMaggio card, 4 of 5, called "The Streak." The card is number 1698 of 2,500 Score autographed cards (1992). Plus, the following signed Hall of Fame postcards, mostly scripted in blue marker: 4) Stan Musial; 5) Monte Irvin; 6) Johnny Mize; 7) Bill Terry; 8) Judy Johnson; 9) Brooks Robinson; 10) George Kell; 11) Carl Hubbell; 12) Ted Lyons; 13) Al Lopez. Also, three Thumper (1989) 3.5x5.5" signed postcards, each signed in blue marker: 14) Ray Dandridge, (15) Bobby Doerr, and (16) Brooks Robinson. Overall, the 16 Hall of Fame autographs average 8/10, and the postcards and the Score DiMaggio card are in EXCELLENT condition.
