A Baseball Hall of Fame postcard signed by legendary first baseman Jimmie Foxx. The postcard has some wear and chipping on the front side. The player has written on the back of the postcard in blue, "I'm sorry the front won't take ink! One of my great thrills was the homerun off Grimes in the 1930 Series in St. Louis, Jimmie Foxx." Signatures from Foxx are quite rare as he passed away in 1967. The card has been encapsulated and authenticated by Beckett Grading Services. Foxx played in the Major Leagues from 1925-45. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1951, he finished his career with a .325 batting average, 534 home runs, and 1,922 RBIs.
