An Adirondack Big Stick model bat used by legendary slugger Reggie Jackson circa 1977-79. The 34.5" long bat weighs 33.8 ounces and has Jackson's number 44 written on the knob. The piece shows outstanding signs of use with several ball marks along the barrel and there is a crack in the handle. The lot will include a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA, validating the bat. This bat was used during Jackson's incredible time with the Yankees as he earned the nickname Mr. October after leading New York to World Series Championships in 1977 and 1978. Jackson retired following the 1987 season and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.
