Oakland Athletics ticket stub issued for a game against the Texas Rangers on September 9, 1985, in which Jose Canseco hit his first career Major League home run. Signed on the front in blue fine-point marker by Canseco, who has added the inscription "1st MLB HR." PSA has encapsulated the ticket, grading the signature GEM MINT 10 and the ticket NM 7. This is the ONLY example of this ticket stub (autographed or not autographed) listed in the PSA Population Report. Canseco's first home run occurred in his fifth career game and came at the expense of pitcher Jeff Russell. Canseco led off the third inning with a home run, which was the only scoring for the A's in the club's 3-1 loss. The home run also represented Canseco's second career hit (he added his third career hit, a single, later in the game). As noted by the PSA Population Report, this is a rare ticket and one that would be a welcome addition to any advanced Major League ticket collection. 5x2".
