Texas Rangers ticket stub issued for a game against the Oakland Athletics on August 6, 1992, in which Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was ejected from the game for the first and only time in his career. Ryan has signed the ticket in blue fine-point marker on the front. PSA has encapsulated the ticket stub, grading the signature GEM MINT 10 and certifying the ticket as "Authentic." This is the ONLY signed example of this ticket stub listed in the PSA Population Report. Ryan's first and only ejection occurred in the top of the eighth inning after he hit Willie Wilson with a pitch. Wilson hit a triple off Ryan earlier in the game and Ryan claimed that Wilson was shouting profanities at him after reaching third. When Ryan plunked Wilson his next time up, home plate umpire Rich Garcia immediately ejected him, which led to the fans littering the field with garbage. The stub (1.5x3.75") remains in Excellent condition and displays a Nolan Ryan hologram label on the reverse.
