Boston Red Sox ticket stub, issued for a game against the Texas Rangers on May 29, 1993, in which Jose Canesco made his Major League pitching debut. Signed and inscribed by Canseco in blue marker on the front: "Jose Canseco Blows Out Arm!" PSA has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and the ticket stub EX-MT 6. This one of only two signed examples of this ticket stub graded at this level by PSA, with NONE graded higher. Canseco, who was an outfielder with Texas at the time, persuaded manager Kevin Kennedy to let him make his MLB pitching debut in the bottom of the eighth inning with the Rangers trailing 12-1. Canseco fared no better or worse than the other Texas pitchers that day, surrendering three runs in his one inning of work. He also added injury to insult when he "blew out" his arm, sustaining an elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery to repair, thereby ending his season. 1.25x3.75".
