Original Type I photograph capturing the 1956 World Champion New York Yankees in a traditional team pose. Thirty-six team members are pictured posing together on the field at Yankee Stadium, including Mantle, Berra, Ford, Slaughter, Martin, Stengel (Mgr.), Dickey (coach), Larsen, Howard, Skowron, and McDougald. A New York Daily News credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with the handwritten year ("1956") and identifications for each player. 1956 marked Mickey Mantle's Triple Crown season, a year in which he also won the first of his two consecutive MVP Awards. The Yankees avenged their 1955 World Series loss by defeating the Dodgers to capture their fifth World Championship of the decade. The photo (10x8") remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Encapsulated as Type I Authentic by PSA.
