Presented is a Rod Gilbert and Vic Hadfield signed 1965 New York Rangers Souvenir (Photo) Roster, by H-O Oats (PSA). The 1964-65 Rangers had a 20-38-12 record, for 5th place in the then six-team NHL. Hockey Hall of Fame right wing Rod Gilbert led the 1964-65 Rangers in scoring with 25 goals and 36 assists for 61 points. Hockey Hall of Fame center Jean Ratelle was second on the '64-65 Rangers in scoring, with 21 goals and 35 assists for 56 points. Gilbert signed the roster photo as did left wing Vic Hadfield. Both Gilbert and Hadfield signed bold signatures in blue marker and added their uniform numbers, as "#11" for Hadfield and "7" for Gilbert. Other Hockey Hall of Famers pictured, but not signed, are Jacques Plate and Harry Howell.

The photo roster measures 8.5x11". The sheet consists of 18 black and white 1.25x2" individual player photos, and in the center, a 2.75" diameter photo of George "Red" Sullivan, the Ranger coach in 1964-65. Machine printed on the offering is "SOUVENIR OF H*O - NEW YORK RANGER SHOW * WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY, 1965 * MADISON SQUARE GARDEN/H*O OATS - OFFICIAL BREAKFAST OF THE NEW YORK RANGERS." Both the Gilbert and Hadfield signatures and inscriptions are neatly written. The photo roster shows some slight darkening, from the passage of time, and the page has a number of small stains, mostly not on the photos. The offering comes with a PSA hologram attached for signatures.
