A bat used by Hall of Famer Tim Raines during his time with the New York Yankees, circa 1997-98. The black Louisville Slugger C271S model bat is 33.5" long and weights 31.1 ounces. The bat is uncracked and shows light use with ball marks evident on the barrel. Raines' nickname, "Rock," is stamped on the barrel in silver and there is pine tar residue on the handle. The player has signed the bat on the barrel, inscribing 98 WS Champs. Raines bats used during his time with the Yankees are very tough to find as he played in less than 250 games during his 3 years there. The lot includes a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA and the company has assigned the piece a grade of Game Used 8.5. Raines, whose 808 steals rank fourth all-time, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017.
