Copy of the "Dowd Report," which was the official report of the investigation regarding Pete Rose's alleged gambling violations, presented to Ted Williams as a gift by John M. Dowd, the Special Council who compiled the report. Dowd has inscribed the cover in black ink (grading 9/10), "For Ted/All Good Wishes/John M. Dowd." This piece was originally obtained at auction in 2024 during the sale of a portion of The Ted Williams Estate and is accompanied by a COA signed by Eric Abel, attorney for the Williams Estate. Also accompanied by a former auction LOA from James Spence in authentication of Dowd's signature. The 225-page report remains in Near Mint condition.
