A game used bat from former New York Yankees catcher Jim Leyritz. The black Adirondack Big Stick is 35" long and shows outstanding use with ball strikes all along the barrel. Model "155A" with year "99" (a championship year for the Yankees) are stamped on knob. The handle is cracked and there is also wood separation on the back barrel. Leyritz has autographed the bat in silver marker on the barrel, also inscribing 96 World Series, 99 Champs, and Last HR of the Century (his home run in Game 4 of the 1999 World Series). Known for his postseason heroics, Leyritz remains a celebrated member of the 1990s Yankee teams. The catcher finished his career with a .264 batting average and 90 home runs.
