Celluloid baseball scorer, issued by the Cleveland Leader newspaper, featuring a bust-length image of Hall of Fame second baseman Nap Lajoie on the front. The white lettering around the perimeter reads "Cleveland Leader Naps." The Cleveland ballclub was nicknamed the "Naps" in honor of Lajoie, who was the team's long-time player manager. The reverse features three small dials to record the score for each team, as well as the inning. The design features a slotted top end so that the piece can be attached to a fob if so desired. The reverse scoring portion is slightly warped but remains fully functional. In Very Good condition overall. An attractive example of this scarce regional baseball scorer. 1.75" in diameter.
