Presented is a 1994 Curt Schilling Philadelphia Phillies game worn jersey. Shilling played for five Major League clubs: Baltimore Orioles (1988-90), Houston Astros (1991), Philadelphia Phillies (1992-2000), Arizona Diamondbacks (2000-03), Boston Red Sox (2004-07). He had a 216-146 record, with a 3.46 ERA. Bothered by injuries, Schilling only appeared in 13 games in the '94 season when this jersey was worn. He had a 2-8 record that season. Schilling went on to become a 6-time All-Star and a 3-time World Champion, and the 2001 World Series MVP.
The offered jersey is a gray polyester Philadelphia Phillies away shirt. Across the chest is a sewn-on "Phillies" in red script with white trim and a blue star to dot the letter "i." Six silver buttons run down the front. On the lower left tail are four tags: 1) A Russell Athletic manufacturer's tag; 2) Diamond Collection showing size "48"; 3) 2" Extra Body Length; 100% polyester. The right sleeve has an "125th Anniversary" patch and a Russell Athletic logo. The left sleeve has "38" in red sewn-on numerals with white trim. Across the top back is "SCHILLING" in red sewn-on letters with white trim. Below that is "38" in red sewn-on numerals with white trim. Schilling has signed and inscribed the number "8" of his "38." He used a black, fine tip marker to boldly sign his name and add "#38." The jersey exhibits light use, and it is in EXCELLENT condition.
