Presented is a 1975 Cincinnati Reds presentational watch in honor of the team's World Championship. This is not a retail item; these watches were awarded to team officials and management. The '75 Reds won the West Division of the National League with a 108-54 record. In the World Series, the Reds defeated the Boston Red Sox in seven games to win Cincinnati's first World Series since 1940. Three future Hall of Famers were among the Reds top stars in '75: Catcher Johnny Bench batted .283 with 28 home runs and 110 RBIs. First baseman Tony Perez batted .283 with 20 home runs and 109 RBIs, and second baseman Joe Morgan batted .327 with 17 home runs and 94 RBIs. Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson was the Reds skipper. The Reds' '75 World Championship was really the start of the Big Red Machine dynasty.

The offered watch is manufactured by Omega. The watch face has a Reds logo, and the face reads, "Cincinnati Reds World Champs '75"/Omega." The watch has a diameter of approx. 1.4". The watch face is encased in gold-colored metal, and the expandable watchband is in silver-colored metal. The watch is in NRMT condition. It does not run at present. It is not known if a change of battery would enable it to run. The offering makes a great remembrance for the start of one of baseball's greatest dynasties, the Big Red Machine.
