Presented is a John Elway Stanford University signed Riddell AUTHENTIC helmet. Elway played four seasons at Stanford (1979-82). In his Stanford years, he completed 774 passes for 9,349 yards and 77 touchdowns, with 39 interceptions. He was a unanimous All-American and in his senior year he was second in voting for the Heisman Award. When he had finished playing at Stanford, he held every major Pacific 10 Conference passing record. As a pro, he played his entire NFL career with the Denver Broncos (1983-98). He had a 148-82-1 regular season record. He threw for 51,475 yard and 300 touchdowns, with 226 interceptions. He led the Broncos to five Super Bowls, winning two of them (XXII & XXXIII), and is in both the College Football and Pro Football Halls of Fame.

The offered signed helmet is a Riddell Pro Line Stanford University Authentic helmet. Elway signed near the top of the helmet, scripting a clearly written autograph in blue, fine marker and inscribing "7." The helmet has an injection molded polycarbonate shell, a vinyl-coated steel facemask, VSR - 4 style padding, snap on chin strap and the same colors and logos as game equipment. The white helmet has a cardinal red stripe down the middle and a cardinal red "S" Stanford logo on each side. "Riddell" is just above the facemask, and "Riddell" is on each side of the chin mask. On back are size indicators: both "L," raised on the shell and a Riddell decal tag reading "LARGE." The back has a "use" warning sticker and a Riddell logo. The inside of the shell has an additional warning decal and a size "L" sticker. The offering weighs approx. 62.9 ounces. The helmet comes with a PSA/DNA COA for the signature (Cert. Number AN54969) and that same Cert. Number appears on a PSA sticker affixed to the helmet. The helmet is in EXCELLENT condition. Authentic Helmet.
