Displayed is a Honus Wagner signed album page. Often considered as the best shortstop of all time, Wagner was 5'11", with a barrel chest and bowed legs. An Inaugural Hall of Famer, he played in the Major Leagues from 1897-1917, all with the Pittsburgh Pirates except for his first four seasons, with the Louisville Colonels. An 8-time NL batting champion, Wagner hit .328 lifetime. Wagner, mainly a shortstop, could play any infield or outfield position. He had 3,420 hits and 723 stolen bases, and he was a member of the 1909 World Champions. The Holy Grail in the hobby is Wagner's famous T206 baseball card.

The offered signed album measures 3x5.", and written ion the page, in blue ballpoint ink, by an unknown hand, is "Coach/Shortstop in playing days." Wagner's signature is on a cut piece of lined notebook paper measuring 0.4x2.75". Wagner neatly signed in pencil, scripting "J Honus Wagner." The cut Wagner signature has been affixed to the top of the offered album page. The album page shows a very slight darkening from the passage of years, but it is in an overall condition of EXCELLENT. The offering has been encapsulated and has a PSA/DNA Certified Auto Grade "NM-MT 8."
