Presented is a nice collection of vintage Cleveland Indians autographs (17), with some big stars: "Smokey" Joe Wood (10), signed on index cards, as Joe Wood. Four have inscriptions. Wood was a pitcher with the Boston Red Sox (1908-15), and after an arm injury, he became an outfielder with the Cleveland Indians (1917-22). Overall, he went 117-57 as a pitcher and he batted a career .283; Jim Bagby, Sr., on an index card. He was a pitcher who went 31-12 in 1920 as Cleveland won the World Series; Walter Boyd, on a black & white photo postcard; Gene Beardon, on a black & white photo postcard; Charles "Cuckoo" Jamieson, on an index card, was on the Cleveland Indians from 1919-32. He batted a lifetime .303, with a career high of .359 in 1924. He was on the 1920 Cleveland World Champions; Steve O'Neill, catcher and manager, inscribed on an index card; Leo Fohl, on an index card; John Humphries, cut signature. Most of the signatures are in blue or black ballpoint ink, or black fine tip marker. The signatures average 7 or 8/10.
