Displayed is a 1989 multi-signed Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band multi-signed program. The group was formed in 1989, and it features a frequently evolving cast of personnel as well as frequent guest artists. The Starr band is now in its 16th iteration, for 2024-25. It's a live-rock performance band in which, "Everybody on stage is a star in their own right." The 24-page program (including covers) measures 9.5x13" and features numerous black & white and color photographs of band members. The program cover has a head shot of Ringo, and reads, "RINGO STARR AND HIS ALL-STARR BAND/A DAVID FISHOF PRODUCTION." In the offered program, the band included: Ringo Starr - on drums; Dr. John - on keyboards; Billy Preston - on keyboards; Joe Walsh - on guitar; Rick Danko - on bass; Levon Helm - on percussion; Nils Lofgren, on guitar; Jim Keltner - on drums; Clarence Clemons - on sax. Of course, most of the band members, especially Ringo, also did vocals or backing vocals.
The program cover includes a Ringo Starr autograph and inscription ("Love Ringo Starr"), together with the black-marker signatures of the following eight band members: Nils Lofgren, Joe Walsh, Levon Helm, Billy Preston, Rick Danko, Clarence Clemons, Jim Keltner, and Dr. John. The Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band continues to perform in 2025. Typically, one of the group's concerts features 10-12 songs by Ringo and two or three songs featuring each member of the band, usually their greatest hits. At a point earlier in 2025, the band included: Ringo Starr, Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette, Warren Ham, and Buck Johnson. Just some of the band's numerous guests over the years have included: Bruce Springsteen, Max Weinberg, Stevie Nicks, Gary Puckett, Gary Busey, Paul McCartney, Pete Townsend, Joan Baez, and John Travolta.
The program has some small, hardly noticeable wrinkles on the front and back covers, and is otherwise in EXCELLENT condition. The offering comes with a PSA LOA for the signatures. The autographs of these musical stars, and the fact that the 1989 program comes from the first year of the band's existence make this a special item of rock memorabilia.
