One-page typed letter, dated December 13, 1941, signed by Kenesaw Landis, the first Commissioner of Baseball. PSA has encapsulated the letter and certified the signature as "Authentic." In his brief letter, on official "Baseball" letterhead, Landis thanks a "Mr. T. Brennan" for his recent kind message. Signed "Kenesaw Landis" in black fountain pen (grading 8/10). The letter (8.5x7.25"), which is toned, displays a horizontal mailing fold, a tack hole in each of the upper corners, a tiny tear along the top border, and two small areas of discoloration along the left border. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope (9.5x4") which is in Good to Very Good condition, with a vertical fold and several staple holes.
