A replica 1960 Cotton Bowl Championship ring made for, and worn by, Syracuse Orangemen captain Gerhard Schwedes. The halfback had this ring made up so he could wear it without damaging the original ring. The item features a faux orange gemstone with the Syracuse helmet logo on one side and the Orange Bowl stadium on the other. Also included is a display base that reads: Gerhard Schwedes, Syracuse University, 1959 National Champions, Team Captain. The ring is size 10.5 and is 10k gold.  After his time at Syracuse, Schwedes would play for the Boston Patriots and New York Titans of the AFL from 1960-61.
