A cigar box presented to former Boston Celtics forward Jim Loscutoff upon his retirement in 1964. The silver box measures 8" wide by 4" deep and 1.5" high. The box is engraved "To Jim, From the Boys, March 1, 1964." The top of the box also features engraved signatures from members of the team, including Red Auerbach, John Havlicek, Jack Ramsay, Sam Jones, and Bill Russell. Drafted 3rd overall by the Celtics in 1955, Loscutoff would become a key backup for the dynastic Boston team, winning 7 titles during his 10 years in the league. Loscutoff passed away in 2015 at the age of 85.
