Under the desert skies of Nevada and captured on film for the first time in history, Ruby Rob dropped the champ with a breath taking “solar plexus punch” becoming the only three-division champion in history. Incredible bronze medals (1 3/8”) each contain a headshot of the pugilists framed by their name. On the verso both read, “For The Championship Of The World. Carson City NEV March 17 1897” surrounded by, “Souvenir Corbett-Fitzsimmons Contest” along the medals borders. Medals are EX, Fitzsimmons’ showing slightly more tarnishing, Corbett’s with virtually no tarnishing.
