Rawlings "Professional League" ball signed in black fountain pen by the following twenty-two members of the 1934 New York Yankees: Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Sewell, Ruffing, Gomez, Broaca, Chapman, Van Atta, Heffner, Newkirk, Byrd, Jorgens, MacFayden, Crosetti, Taylor, Allen, Rolfe, Hoag, Murphy, Saltzgaver, and Deshong. Signatures average 7/10. Excellent to Mint condition. Although the Yankees failed to win the pennant in 1934, it was still a memorable year for the Bronx Bombers. Gehrig finally emerged from Ruth's shadow by winning the Triple Crown with league-leading totals in home runs (49), RBI (166), and batting average (.363). However, even more important was the fact that unbeknownst to all at the time, the season marked Babe Ruth's last season in pinstripes. This is an exceptional New York Yankees team ball featuring one of the last signatures of Babe Ruth as a member of the Yankees. Full LOA from JSA.
