A pair of uniform pants worn by former New York Yankees All-Star Joe Pepitone during the 1966 season. The white pinstriped pants show excellent signs of wear with dirt stains and loose threading. The interior tag shows that the garment was made by Spalding and and an additional tag reads: Pepitone 25 66 35 25 and the words Coccia and the numbers 66-25-35 are written in marker. Pepitone debuted with the Yankees during the 1962 season and made three straight All-Star games from 1963-65. A fondly remembered Yankee from his playing days, Pepitone passed away in 2023 at the age of 82.
