Ticket stub to the 1970 FIFA World Cup Final held at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 21st. The 1970 World Cup final, which matched Brazil vs. Italy, was notable on two counts. It was the first time that two former World Cup champions met in the Final and it also marked Pele's third and final World Cup championship. Today, Pele is still the only player to be a member of three World Cup championship teams. The event was also Pele's final appearance in a World Cup game. Pele scored Brazil's first goal en route to a 4-1 win. The ticket stub (5x4") displays the normal perforations and vertical fold, as well as a staple hole in the upper left corner and a tiny corner crease in the lower right.
