Presented is a 2005-06 Ryan Howard Philadelphia Phillies jersey that was game worn by the powerful left-handed hitting first baseman. The fact that the offered jersey was game worn during the 2005 or 2006 season has special significance since in 2005 Howard was the National League Rookie of the Year, and in 2006, Howard won the NL MVP with a monster season: He batted .313, and he ed the NL in home runs (58), RBIs (149) and total bases (383). The fact that the Phillies' 2004 and 2007 jerseys each had a patch on the right sleeve helps to date the offered jersey as either 2005 or 2006. The 3-time All-Star played his entire 13-year career with Philadelphia, finishing with 382 home runs. The offered polyester jersey is gray, with "PHILLIES" in sewn-on red, with a blue star "dotted letter "i", and white trim. Six silver-gray buttons run down the front. The left, outer tail has an AUTHENTIC/Majestic tag and underneath that is a size "54" tag. The left sleeve has a sewn-on number "6" in a red numeral with white trim, and a sewn-on Majestic tag. Across the back is "HOWARD" in red sewn-on letters with white trim, and under the player's name is "6" in a sewn-on red numeral with white trim. The back collar has an MLB logo. The jersey shows nice wear, with bleeding on tagging and some tiny spots on the left, top back. Overall, the jersey is in EXCELLENT condition.
