Very unique Joe DiMaggio signed item featuring Marilyn Monroe. Here we have a signed clear plastic sheet by Joee DiMaggio that has been placed over the image of the December 1, 1953 Playboy magazine cover image. When the sheet is placed on top of the paper, the image is a near-perfect resemblance of a signed Playboy first issue cover. Since DiMaggio notoriously would not sign any Marilyn Monroe-related memorabilia, the original autograph seeker placed the clear sheet on top of a regular photo of DiMaggio, only to remove that photo and replace it with the Playboy cover afterward. The piece measures 8.5"x11" and signature rates 10/10. DiMaggio and Monroe were married from 1954 to 1955. Comes with a full LOA from PSA.
