A Dallas Chaparrals warmup set worn by center Rich Niemann during the 1971-72 season. The white, short sleeved warmup top is white with blue and red lettering. On the reverse side is the player's name and a bird dribbling an ABA-style basketball. The interior tail tag shows that the jacket is a size 44 made by Rawlings. The pants are red with blue and white trim. The tag shows that they are a size 38 made by Rawlings. Niemann's number 52 is stitched on the upper left leg. The warmups show terrific wear. Niemann, who played in both the NBA and ABA played his last professional season with Dallas. The Chaparrals would eventually become the San Antonio Spurs and this is a great looking piece of memorabilia from their early ABA days.
