A stick used during the 1990s by Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Larry Murphy. Much of the stick has been blacked out, but it is a Koho Stick. The item shows nice signs of use with original black tape still affixed to the butt end. Murphy's name is stamped near the butt end and his number 55 is written in black marker. Murphy was a steady and productive force in the league for 22 seasons, making 3 All-Star teams. He won Stanley Cup titles with the Penguins in 1991 and 1992 and with the Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and 1998 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
