Colorado Rockies home jersey worn by star first baseman Andres Galarraga during the 1994 season, which was the club's second season in franchise history. The white knit pinstripe jersey is lettered "Rockies" across the front in black on white tackle twill. "Galarraga" is lettered on the reverse, below which is the number "14." All reverse letters and numerals are applied in black on silver tackle twill. A Colorado Rockies team patch appears on the left sleeve, while a Major League Baseball "125th Anniversary" patch adorns the right sleeve. Located on the left front tail are a "Russell Athletic 50" label and a white strip tag listing both the year and set number, "1994-1." The jersey is original as issued and displays moderate wear, including a few small stains on the front. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the Colorado Rockies.

Galarraga, who was the National League's reigning batting champion, enjoyed another banner season in 1994, despite playing in just 103 games due to a broken hand suffered on July 28th. In just 449 at bats he managed to total 31 home runs and 85 RBI, while recording a .319 batting average. The "Big Cat" finished his nineteen-year career in 2004 with 399 home runs, 1,425 RBI, and a .288 batting average.
