Lot of two autographed 500 Home Run Club First Day Covers (FDCs) from the Mickey Mantle Estate. Each of these envelopes measure 9.5x4" and are postmarked with a date of January 14, 1989. They commemorate the 150th Anniversary of baseball in America and feature a graphic that includes painted portraits of 11 members of the 500 Home Run Club. A Babe Ruth stamp, and a 1869-1969 professional baseball stamp are affixed to the top right corner of the envelopes. The FDCs have been autographed by 8 of the 500 home run hitters, including Mickey Mantle, Mike Schmidt, Willie McCovey, Willie Mays, Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Mathews, Reggie Jackson, and Ted Williams. These FDCs come directly from the Mickey Mantle estate. A COA signed by Merlyn, David, and Danny Mantle accompany these unique collectibles.
