This lot features a 1954 Dan-Dee Potato Chips Red Schoendienst card. This card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA NM-MT 8. Dan-Dee is a very rare set from 1954 that featured cards in a bag of potato chips. Given the fact that these cards were in potato chip bags, they were very hard to keep in good condition. That being said, finding any card from the set in high grade is tough for collectors, let alone a Hall of Famer like Red Schoendienst. This card is a POP 11 with only 2 copies graded higher in the PSA registry. Furthermore, out of the 3,432 cards from the set that have been graded by PSA only 411 cards have received a graded of NM-MT 8 or higher from PSA.
