Presented is a seldom-seen Sammy Sosa rookie-era game used bat. The black Louisville Slugger G157 bat is 34" long and weighs 31.4 oz. It was used by Sosa when he played for the Chicago White Sox in 1989. The bat shows outstanding signs of use as there is a crack on the center brand, and some wood loss on the barrel. Number 25 is written on the knob of the bat in silver marker. "SAMMY SOSA" is etched into the barrel of the bat. There is also evidence that the handle of the bat was taped, but the tape has since been removed. This rare bat comes with a full LOA from PSA, and it has been graded GU 7.
