Large baseball autograph collection, totaling 198 items, consisting of index cards (or similar size cards), cuts, small black-and-white photos (each approximately 3.25x5.5"; on paper stock), and miscellaneous items (8x10" photos, small color photos, Hall of Fame postcard, baseball card, and other items). The majority of the players represented (some more than once) were active during the 1920s through the 1960s, but a few modern-day players are also represented. Several Hall of Fame signatures are featured, but most are those of star players. The signatures (scripted in a variety of inks) average 8/10. Several include a personalization. The items are in Very Good condition overall. The number of items for each player (if more than one) is noted in parentheses. Please note: In a collection of this size, one has to allow for the possibility that some of the signatures may represent clubhouse/secretarial examples.
