Presented is a rarely-seen 1990 Cincinnati Reds women's World Series championship sample ring. The ring is size 5.5 and weighs 7.8 grams. It is a non-gold salesman sample. Inside the "C" on the face of the ring are seven pieces of cubic zirconia. "CINCINNATI REDS 1990 WORLD CHAMPIONS" is presented around the "C." Marge Schott was the owner of the championship Reds team, and her last name is on the left side of the ring in capital letters. An outline of Riverfront Stadium is etched into the ring below "SCHOTT." On the right side of the ring, the word "SWEEP" is above an etching of the World Series trophy. "LBG BGP" is stamped inside the ring, and below is a serial number that reads "SA 1 156 CN-8'." The ring was made by Balfour and will come in a small box with the company's name on the inside. The Reds swept the Oakland A's in the 1990 World Series, and this keepsake is from that exciting time in Reds history.
