Offered is an Ed Walsh single-signed baseball dated from 1953. This MacGregor B60 Prep League baseball has been signed on the side panel by Walsh with a blue ballpoint pen. The autograph has been graded MINT 9 by PSA. There is an inscription above his signature that reads, "71 YRS 1953," which was penned in an unknown hand. The ball is in remarkable condition with some toning visible. Walsh was one of the best pitchers in baseball in the early 1900s. In 1906 he won a World Series title with the White Sox. He retired in 1917 and had a career ERA of 1.82 which is the lowest of all time. Comes with a full LOAs from PSA and JSA.
