Presented is a rare Grover Cleveland Alexander single-signed baseball from the 1926 championship season. This Official National League baseball was signed by Alexander with a black fountain pen. The signature rates a 6.5/10. Before his name, Alexander added "From," and he also added "St. Louis 1926" below his signature. The ball has red and blue stitching and is in very good condition. 1926 is a significant year as it relates to Alexander's championship season with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals defeated Babe Ruth and the New York Yankees that year in the World Series in an epic 7-game series. Alexander pitched complete game victories in games 2 and 6 of the Series. Alexander was one of the winningest pitchers in MLB history as he won 373 games in his career. This ball comes with a full LOA from PSA and letter of provenance signed by Geddy Lee.
