"Official League" baseball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher "Chief" Bender in black fountain pen across the side panel. The signature presents very well, grading 7.5/10. Bender was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1953 but died only a year later in 1954 leaving his single-signed baseballs extremely scarce, and difficult for collectors to obtain. The ball displays a few areas of aging but is in very good to excellent condition overall. Full LOA from JSA.
