This rare ticket is from the game that was the inspiration for one of the most beloved sports films in American cinema history, "Hoosiers." On March 20, 1954, in the Indiana High School Athletic Association championship game, Milan High School defeated the heavily favored Muncie Bearcats with a fourteen-foot buzzer-beater to secure a 32 to 30 victory. This ticket is from the legendary game that took place at the Butler Field House in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has been slabbed and graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. There are only 12 tickets from this game that have been graded by PSA making this a very rare piece. At the grade of a PSA 4 it is the second highest graded within the population report with only one higher.
