2005-06 Alexander Ovechkin Washington Capitals game-issued and signed rookie jersey. Ovechkin signed the back of this size 56 Reebok jersey in black Sharpie on his uniform number 8. The signature rates an 8 out of 10. The front of the mostly black jersey features the Washington Capitals logo: The dome of the Capitol Building, two intersecting hockey sticks, two stars, and a hockey puck. An eagle is sewn to the top of each sleeve, just above Ovechkin's number 8. The Reebok logo is sewn to the back of the jersey at the neck area. The "OVECHKIN" nameplate is sewn to the jersey, just below the logo. And below "OVECHKIN" is number "8." A size 56 tag is present in the inside back collar area. There is a "Cutting Edge Sports" tag sewn to the back right inside tail area. "Set#2 2005-2006" and "Washington Capitals" is present on the tag. The jersey was not used and was likely a spare.
