A broadside advertising an event held by the Indianapolis Clowns that has been signed by Satchel Paige. The 10x16.5" poster has been enclosed in a 15x21" frame. The broadside, which features a crease in the center, was made to promote a game between the Clowns and the Birmingham Red Sox. Paige has signed the item in blue ink. The lot will also include a letter from PSA/DNA verifying its authenticity. The Indianapolis Clowns were similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, though they also fielded competitive teams featuring stars such as Hank Aaron and Buster Haywood. Full LOA from PSA.
